About the People

Library Employees

Allison Wakefield (Director)
About Allison - I moved to Ogden in 2002 with my family and my dad became the pastor of the Ogden Church of the Nazarene. Shortly after I moved here I became involved with the library helping whenever I was needed. In 2014 I got married to my husband Ryan and we have 3 wonderful children. I have served on the library board for many years and decided that I wanted to be more involved with the day to day running of the library and applied for the Library Directors position in 2022. In my free time I love to read, crocheting amigurumi, being a Girl Scout Co-Leader, and watching my kids compete in dance.

 Brooke Higginbotham (Assistant Librarian)

Tom Wing (Clerk)
About Tom - Born and raised in the midwest. Oldest child of 7 siblings. Married with 3 adult daughters, 1 adult son. Retired Military 36 years; last duty station was as Commander of the 182 Medical Squadron attached to 182 Airlift Wing; Peoria, IL. Also retired from Veterans Adminstration, where I was a surgical PA. I actively chose to live in the midwest because my experience is that the people of the midwest are the hardest working, most generous, REAL people I have encountered. I choose Ogden because you are those people!! My wife and I are honored and proud to be a part of your community. I look forward to helping you at the library.

In addition to serving on our village library board, I enjoy traveling, professional and personal development activities, and most importantly, spending time with my family. My favorite part of serving on our library board is supporting our librarian in her programs and betterment of the library. I am proud that I am a part of providing our community with such a great resource.

Rick Breitenfeldt (Treasurer)

Ronda Fulkerson (Secretary)
About Ronda - My name is Ronda, I was raised in Sidney, and I have been living in Ogden for about 25 years now. When I was 17 I decided to boldly go where no man has gone before and joined the military. I served 10 years on the enterprise. Serving my country on the enterprise has allowed me to be a worlds traveler. Throughout my military career, I’ve had many amazing experiences that has shaped who I am today. For example, when I was exploring Bajor, I helped with a project that brought more tourist to the suffering country, helping them learn there is a way out of every box, a solution to every puzzle; it’s just a matter of finding it. I have served on the library board for 12 years and believe that my experiences will help me help the library live long and prosper. A library serves no purpose unless someone is using it.
